Paul..... it floats! Even the pirate in the aft seat approves, and the passengers are my two granddaughters. Just a few more layers on the gunnels, the fiberglass cloth and a finish coat. I'll send you pictures of the boat when its finished. That "built in" handle on the transom is a a great carrying device!!!! This project has turned out so well - I am so proud of the results. My whole neighborhood has stopped by to give positive comments and compliment the appearance and lines of your design.
